I have been blessed to have worked in HR for over 30 years, first as a compensation analyst, then as a generalist, and have been at the senior level as a director for the last two decades. I have been actively involved with the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) as a volunteer member of the exam development panel (primarily SPHR but also PHR and aPHR) since 2004.
I've worked for large companies like AOL and smaller organizations like a regional bank. Most have been for profit but a few were not-for-profit. I've worked for Magnolia River for almost ten years and have a lot of respect for the natural gas industry.
My interests include curling (we do have a club here in Alabama), golf, and amateur radio (extra class WN1G).
